DUCKRO, Edward J.

Age 88, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021. Mr. Duckro, a U.S. Army veteran, was born in Dayton on December 14, 1932, to the late Edward and Freda (Minzy) Duckro. Also preceding him in death are his wife of 50 years, Kathryn (Aufderheide); siblings, Ray, Richard (Dick), and Jerome (Jake). Edward is survived by his son, Mark; daughter, Ann (Matthew Spuhler); grandchildren, Zachary and Gabriel Duckro; brothers, William and Charles; sisters, Mary Ann, Jackie, and Helen (Joop); and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and other extended family, friends and special neighbors, Melvin and Pauline Arthur. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 8th from 5-7pm at The Westbrock Funeral Home, 1712 Wayne Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 noon on Wednesday at St. Albert the Great Church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Hospice of Dayton or Dayton Community Cat Project.
