FLANNERY, Adolph "Doc"

Adolph ""Doc"" Flannery, 83, of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021 at home. He was born on November 29, 1937 in Elliott County, Kentucky the son of Clyde Washington, Sr. and Virgie (Kidd) Flannery.

""Doc"" was an adventurous man of many successful businesses throughout his career. He was known for his winning personality, from farming and raising beef cattle to currently having a car dealership for the past 25 years and developer of the Blueberry Hill Cabins at Rocky Fort Lake. He enjoyed the outdoors and boating. He was a loyal fan of Kentucky Wildcats basketball and March Madness Tournaments.

""Doc ""is survived by his wife of 64 years, Pam (Hull) Flannery; son, Jeff (Victoria) Flannery of Belle Center and daughter, Jackie Flannery Howland of Hillsboro; beloved grandchildren: Tiffani (Howard) Davis, Shannon (Dane) Ditto, Dustin Scott and Justin Scott; five great-grandchildren: Rylee, Harlen and Ridge Davis, Kaylee Scott and Domenic Ditto; and many in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

He is preceded in death by a much loved and deeply missed granddaughter, Heather Flannery; Brothers and Sisters: Roy Flannery, Clyde Flannery, Jr., Frank Flannery, Lois Adkins, Marie Flannery Caudill and niece, Greta Toth.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at LITTLETON & RUE Funeral Home, 830 N. Limestone St., Springfield with Mr. Kevin Hull (nephew) and Mr. Kevin Hull officiating. The family will receive friends 2 hours before the service from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. Online expression of sympathy may be made at www.littletonandrue.com.
