HALEY, Robert Andrew "Bob"

lovingly known as Bob, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2024, in Vandalia, Ohio. Born on April 1, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio, he was the cherished son of Margaret and Frank Haley and one of eight siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Fran, and his brothers Jerry and Dan. Bob dedicated over 25 years of his life to teaching math, inspiring countless students with his passion for education. Outside the classroom, he was a valued member of several maintenance teams. During the holiday season, Bob's generosity and warmth shone brightly as he delighted many by playing Santa Claus. Family was Bob's greatest pride and joy. He is survived by his children: his eldest daughter Lori (Scott) and their daughters Abigail and Gabriella; his son Brian (Tiffani) and their children Ada, Nate, and Nora; his youngest daughter Jeri; and Aaron (Erin) and their sons Preston and Ellis. He also leaves behind his eldest sister Peg, brothers Mike and John, and youngest sister Susan, and his best friend and brother in life Paul. Bob embraced life with enthusiasm and had many passions. He was an avid bowler, a devoted Bridge player, a frequent moviegoer, and a proud supporter at his granddaughters' softball games. Known for his kindness and humor, Bob was a fantastic friend to many and brought joy to all who knew him. A service and celebration of life will be held for Bob at Saint Kateri preserve at a date to be determined. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him.
