HARMON, Rev. Earl C.

Rev. Earl C. Harmon, age 93 of Hamilton, passed away at

Bradford Place in Hamilton, on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, – four days shy of his 94th

birthday.

Earl was born in Flemingsburg, Kentucky, to Clarence and

Nellie (Colliver) Harmon on

January 9, 1927. He married Wilma Florence Mason on July 7, 1953, in Liberty, Indiana. He was a veteran of WWII and served in the Army. He was the Pastor of the New Miami First Church of God for 32 years and in later years, the Pastor of the Madisonville Church of God. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed playing whenever he was able. Rev. Paul Hensley, Rev. Russ Hayes and Rev. Don Sauls were a few of his closest friends.

Earl is survived by daughter Jessemyn Sue (Michael) Burns; son, Raymond (Regina) Harmon; grandchildren, Gregory (Barbie) Burns, Nicole (Patrick) Roe, Preston Harmon and

Shelby Harmon; great-grandchildren, Seth, Kobi and Autumn Burns; and numerous nieces and nephews. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Nellie Harmon; wife, Wilma Florence Harmon; son, Phillip Preston Harmon; siblings, George, Stan and Sam Harmon and Winona Esham. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Hospice of Cincinnati or the Millville Avenue Church of God. The family of Earl wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the hospice team (nurses, social worker and chaplain) who took care of him during his last few days. Funeral Home for their compassion and understanding. Due to COVID-19, funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. A memorial service and reception for Earl and

Wilma is being planned for July 10, 2021, at the Millville

Avenue Church of God, if COVID cases are on the decline at that time.
