HERZOG, Betty A.
89, passed away on Tuesday, December 29, 2020. She was born on February 22, 1931, in Paxton, Illinois, to the late
Thomas and Lavauda (Deering) James. Betty was married to Fred Herzog in 1947. She
retired from the Beckett Paper Company after 32 years of work. Betty is survived by her children, Carolyn (Roy) Barker, Brenda (Ralph) Magill, and Fred (Cindy) Herzog, Jr.; grandchildren, Jeff (Michelle) Barker and Laura (Daniel) Klingenberg; great-grandchildren, Chloe (Curtis) Masters, Alyson (John) Manfreda, Gabriel Barker and Kyla Klingenberg; and great-great-grandchild, Esther Masters; sisters, Eva Baker and Loretta (Steve) Pennington; sister-in-law, Helen (Chris) James; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary Johnson, Diana Scott, Delmar James, Donald James, Clifton James, Thomas James and Chris James. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, at 2 pm, at the Rose Hill Funeral Home, with a visitation to take place two hours prior from 12 pm until 2 pm.
