Abraham Wesley

Age 86, of Brookville passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020, at his home. He was

preceded in death by his

parents, Lurton and Vivia; 3 half-sisters; a half-brother; and his loving wife of 65 years,

Patricia. He is survived by his daughters, Angela (Gary) Dasner, Melinda Napoletano, Rebecca (Margaret) Lincoln, and Melissa Gilliland; son, Christopher (Rita) Lincoln; grandchildren, Brittney and Justin Lincoln, Alex Dasner, Noah Napoletano, and Audrey Gilliland; half-sister, Dorothy

Kenney; and half-brother, Charles Rhodehamel; and a host of other relatives and friends. Abraham was a Korean War veteran, internationally renowned calligrapher, graphic artist, photographer, and wood carver. He worked at NCR as a technical

artist and then taught graphic art at Greene County Career Center and Montgomery County Joint Vocational School. Abraham then ran a home calligraphy business and had his own television show on calligraphy. He was the author of the book, "A History of Gordon, Ohio", and several books on calligraphy. While stationed in Sendai, Japan, Abraham took numerous photographs which have been recently featured in an

exhibit in Japan. Abraham also loved animals and turned his backyard into a wildlife habitat. Contributions in Abraham's memory may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
