McGLAUN, Sara Ann

86, of Xenia, passed away Saturday, January 9, 2021, at Trinity Community Beavercreek where she resided briefly due to

sudden declining health. Sara was born in Covington, Ohio, to Alice (Aspinall) and John McCool and graduated from Covington High School where she was proud to say that she was class valedictorian. In addition to her parents, Sara was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. McGlaun who she was happily married to for 56 years, and sister, Miriam "Susie" Hill. She is survived by children, Donna Foster (Robert) and Daniel McGlaun (Kimberly); grandchildren, Chris Hinders (Irda), and Caryn Hoffman (Ryan); great-grandchildren, Alex, Adriana, Andrew, Thomas and Hannah; sister-in-law, Mary Garrett of Livingston, Tennessee; and several nieces and

nephews. Other survivors include, Kristen and Maddie Ohr, Michelle, Justin, Fiona and Fynnigan Heminger, and Michael Hinders. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the staff at Trinity Community Beavercreek who cared for Sara. Sara's working life included Frigidaire and Electronic

Data Systems. She was very passionate about working
