Tom Morgan of Kettering passed away Thursday, June 3, 2021. He was born in Hyden, KY, to William and Mae

(Baker) Morgan. Tom was predeceased by his parents, his wife's parents Louis and Alvina Eilerman, brother James, and sister-in-law Sue Lee. He leaves behind his wife of 54 years Joan (Eilerman) Morgan, daughter Jennifer Morgan Keesaer (John), son Andrew Morgan (Kelly), grandchildren Morgan Keesaer, Grace Keesaer, and Cole Morgan, brothers Samuel (Carol) and Charles "Mickey" (Ruth Ann), sisters Sally Hancock, Brenda La Fever (Bill) and Betty Murphy (Patrick), and brother-in-law Jerome Eilerman (Jean), as well as many devoted nieces and nephews and myriad friends who were an integral part of his life. Tom played basketball and football at Belmont High School. After graduating from Belmont in 1961, he continued playing football at Morehead State University. He remained an avid sports fan throughout his life. He was self-employed for many years and was a successful businessman. Tom loved his family. He never knew a stranger and he enjoyed teasing with people and making them laugh. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 5:00- 6:00 pm Tuesday, June 8, 2021, with a Service to follow at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave., Dayton, OH 45429.
