SHAY, Lisa M.

Born in California and a life-long resident of Springfield, OH, died peacefully on February 10, 2021, at age 60. A graduate of Kenton Ridge High School and Bowling Green State University, her professional career as a supply chain, operations, and logistics specialist at several area manufacturing companies culminated in leadership positions and a corporate directorship. She was an avid quilter, baker, gardener, champion

euchre player, and cat lover with a weakness for strays. She was preceded in death by her dad, Bob Shay. She is survived by her mom, Carolyn Shay, her friend and partner Jed Taylor, her brother John Shay (Meg), her sisters Karen Holly (Dave) and Angie McCreight (Mark Hobson), her special cousin and friend Juliene Bowen (Brian), her brother-in-law Jim McCreight, her aunt Charlene Tosi, her uncle Terry Hook, her niece Molly Melchi (Brian), her nephews David and Christopher McCreight, a great-niece and great-nephew, and many extended family members and friends. Arrangements are

being coordinated by Conroy Funeral Home with her family receiving friends on Thursday, February 18 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in St. Bernard Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Lisa asks that donations be made in her and her cats' names to the Animal Welfare League of Clark County. She also asks that remembrances be made by contributing a pack of wildflower seeds to be planted in her memory on her beloved old schoolhouse property.
