SLONEKER, Elizabeth "Betty"

Elizabeth "Betty" Sloneker, age 88, of Fairfield, a resident at Birchwood Care Center,

Fairfield Township, died Saturday, January 2, 2021, following an illness. She was the widow of Dean F. Sloneker who died in 1997. She was born in

New Miami, Ohio, on September 17, 1932, the daughter of the late George "Yatz" and Evelyn (Nieman) Kallick. She was a graduate of Seven Mile High School. Besides being a homemaker, she was employed as a telephone operator and later worked for over 25 years at the McDonald's on the west side of Hamilton. Betty enjoyed softball, bowling, and particularly bingo, being known as "Bingo Betty". She was an avid sports fan of the Cincinnati Reds and the Kentucky Wildcats. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Jo Sloneker and her partner, Maryanne Locker of Fairfield; a son, Steven D. Sloneker and his wife, Kathy of Clarks Summit, PA; a grandson, Zachary R. Sloneker and his wife, Michelle of West Hartford, CT; a sister Judith Banks of Hamilton and a brother, James Kallick and his wife JoAnn of Trenton and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, David Kallick and George Kallick, and brother-in-law, Ronnie Banks. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 8, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at Weigel

Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd., with Pastor Gidget Collins, Seven Mile Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, January 7 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the
