WILLIAMS, Frederick "Bruce"
Age 92, of Middletown, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at the Dayton Veterans Hospital in Hospice where he had been a patient for one week. He was born September 23, 1928, in Jenkins, Kentucky, but lived in Middletown most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Bruce was employed in production at N.C.R. for 20 years. He also was self-employed in construction. Bruce was talented in all types of construction and building, and doing artwork in concrete sidewalks and landscaping. Preceding him in death were his parents, Dorsie and Elsie (Lindon) Williams; two brothers, Chalmer Williams and Wade Williams; and one sister, Bernice Watkins. He is survived by eight children, Mary Ann Nation, Kenton Williams, Scarlet Williams, Becky Snodgrass, Ronnie Williams, Larry
Williams, Kathy Howard and David Williams; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Minerva Maye Tinch and Della Banks; and several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. There will be a short visitation on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, from 1:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Butler County Memorial Park, Garden of the Good Shepherd, Trenton, Ohio, followed by graveside services at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. Military Honors will be presented by the Franklin V.F.W. Honor Guard. Interment will follow. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown, Ohio.
