It takes an incredible amount of time, effort and money to put together an entire museum. That makes Ohio pretty spoiled considering we have two of the very best in the nation.

Business Insider Magazine named the "The 25 best museums in America," in order and coming in at number 11 was our very own National Museum of the USAF.

Almost topping the entire list was our neighbor up North, Cleveland’s Museum of Art, at number two.

"According to the U.S. government, there are upwards of 35,000 museums in America. For comparison, there are about 13,000 Starbucks across the country," according to an article by a Cleveland publication, the Scene.

Business Insider said among the things that make the Air Force Museum special are the more than 360 aircraft and missiles on display at the “Dayton attraction,” including the Boeing B-29 Superfortress that dropped an atomic bomb on Nagasaki and the Boeing plane that served as Air Force One in the ‘60s and ‘70s.
