The Air Force Museum may be closed but you can take a virtual tour

The National Museum of the United States Air Force has a wide variety of aircraft and equipment on display. The newest addition to the museum is the "Wild Weasel" exhibit which contains an F-105G "Thunderchief," an SA-2 surface-to-air missile and launcher, and a variety of other Vietnam War memorabilia such as maps, flight gear, helmets, patches and photos of the Wild Weasels. Though the National Museum of the United States Air Force is temporarily closed due to the coronavirus, you can still browse the exhibitions.

A self-guided virtual tour is available that gives a 360-degree view of the museum.

The tour is in high-definition and as visitors navigate through the galleries, icons indicate hotspots for additional information, videos, audio and links to online resources.

Visitors can also get an up-close look of dozens of airplane interiors with Cockpit 360 Images.
