Dayton's Kostas Antetokounmpo dunks against George Washington's Yuta Watanabe on Saturday, March 3, 2018, at UD Arena.

Darrell Davis fell short of getting to the 1,000-point milestone, but otherwise, it was a perfect Senior Day for the guard from Detroit.

Davis scored 22 points in his final game at UD Arena, helping lead Dayton to an 88-78 victory against George Washington Saturday. He needs six more points to reach 1,000.

The Flyers finished the regular season at 14-16 and 8-10 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The victory, coupled with a loss by La Salle, assures they will not get one of the four bottom seeds in the tournament. The bracket will be released later Saturday.

Josh Cunningham and Trey Landers added 17 points for the Flyers, who trailed briefly early in the second half but had a comfortable lead for most of the final 10 minutes.

Kostas Antetokounmpo added a career-high 14 points. Jordan Davis scored 11 points.
