1. The conference schedules for field hockey, volleyball, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, baseball, softball and women’s lacrosse will be regionalized and condensed by 25 percent.
“These revised schedules will allow for institutions to ensure a safer environment, minimize travel and missed class time, and conserve cost while still providing competitive schedules for the student-athletes and coaches,” read an A-10 press release.
2. The A-10 championships for volleyball, men’s soccer, women’s soccer, baseball, softball and women’s lacrosse will change to a four-team tournament.

“This will minimize travel exposure, provide a final four competitive experience and allow for the championships to be conducted in one weekend,” read the A-10 press releases.
3. Men’s basketball media day, which would have been held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., site of the 2021 A-10 tournament, will be conducted virtually.

Commissioner Bernadette McGlade said the A-10 hopes campuses reopen, but “should this not occur, the conference is prepared to go back to the drawing board and reevaluate with medical professionals all decisions in the best interests of our student-athletes and programs.”
