Dragons unveil new orange jersey

The Dayton Dragons are going orange on Fridays.

The team announced today a new orange jersey to be worn this season for all Friday home games, beginning this week.

“We are very traditional when it comes to our marks, logos, and our team uniforms,” Dragons President Robert Murphy said in a release. “But we also like to try new things. The Friday night uniform looks great and I know that our players and fans are going to like them very much.”

The orange jersey is the team’s fourth game jersey, joining the home (white with green), road (gray with black) and alternate (green) jerseys.

The Dragons will wear the orange jerseys for the first time against West Michigan at 7 p.m. Friday at Fifth Third Field.
