After Pirates starter Chris Archer threw a pitch behind the Derek Dietrich that prompted the home plate umpire to issue warnings to Archer and Reds, Reds manager David Bell came out to argue the warning.
Two Pittsburgh relievers were thrown out.
Here’s how social media reacted:
David Bell and Yasiel Puig have been ejected from today’s ballgame in the top of the 4th inning.

The day Yasiel Puig took on 25 Pirates. #Reds
I’m on both sides of pirates/reds. Think it’s bush league to stand around after a HR like that. Also like Puig stepping up for his teammates.

As if I couldn't love Yasiel Puig more....

you cannot match up a pair of teams in the NL central that don't hate each other and wouldn't fight immediately and this pirates/reds brawl is just the latest in the 2019 NL Central Drama Zone

Unpopular Opinion. Reds Edition:

I’d rather see more fight out of their bats, than them fighting over near hit by pitches. Great to see guys rally for each other, but start getting some W’s.
I want 25 @Amir_Garrett on my roster. Not mad seeing Puig standing up for his guy. Now I want to see these Reds fight for a win after that
