Bengals embarrassed by Chiefs, fall out of first in AFC North

A fast start to the season has come to a screeching halt for the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bengals were demolished by the Kansas City Chiefs 45-10 on Sunday night at Arrowhead Stadium. Ite was the second straight loss for the Bengals, who fell to 4-3 into a tie for second place with the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North. Pittsburgh, which had a bye this week, is atop the division at 3-2-1.

Patrick Mahomes passed for 358 yards and four touchdowns and Kareem Hunt scored three TDs for the Chiefs (6-1).

The Chiefs built a 24-7 halftime lead and score a pair of quick TDs in the third quarter to put the game away.

Kansas City outgained Cincinnati 551-239.
