One week after saying they were shutting down A.J. Green for the season, the Cincinnati Bengals have placed the Pro Bowl wide receiver on Injured Reserve.

The move allows them to sign Trey Hopkins from the practice squad to give the team some depth on the offensive line heading into Sunday’s season finale against Baltimore at Paul Brown Stadium.

The Bengals put tackle Cedric Ogbeuhi on IR on Friday, leaving them with just seven healthy offensive lineman, one of which is rookie fifth-round Christian Westerman who has never played a snap.

Hopkins is a second-year player who also has yet to get into a game, but he’s been with the team since signing as an undrafted free agent in 2014. He suffered a season-ending leg injury in the 2014 preseason and spent all of 2015 on the practice squad.

Hopkins made the opening 53-man roster this year but was inactive for the first game, then spent Weeks 2-16 on the practice squad.
