Series history for the Bengals and Redskins, who meet at 9:30 a.m. at Wembley Stadium in London:

• Cincinnati leads 5-4.

• The last meeting between the teams was Sept. 23, 2012, when the Bengals scored a 38-31 triumph at FedEx Field. Wide receiver Mohamed Sanu threw a 73-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Green on the first play from scrimmage, and Andy Dalton threw for 328 yards and three touchdowns after that.

• The Bengals have won three in a row, with the last Redskins victory coming in 1991.

• In the 1988 season finale at Riverfront Stadium, the Bengals clinched home-field advantage throughout the playoffs with a 20-17 win in overtime after Washington kicker Chip Lohmiller hit the upright on a 29-yard field goal on the final play of regulation.

• The Bengals also had playoff aspirations in 1985 when they went to Washington with a share of the AFC Central lead, but they couldn’t make a 17-point lead hold up as Redskins Hall of Fame wide receiver Art Monk caught 13 passes for 230 yards to help the hosts score 20 unanswered points for a 27-24 triumph.

• Only the Carolina Panthers, established in 1995, have faced the Bengals fewer times (five) than the nine games the Redskins have played against the Bengals.
