It was expected that Burrow would be at least somewhat limited and in need of some ramp-up days before going full-go, but he looked smooth throwing the ball to some of his favorite targets. The 7-on-7 drills are a way to get back into team activities without as much risk for contact.
Meanwhile, wide receiver Tee Higgins participated in 11-on-11s for the first time this training camp, as he was being eased back in to protect him in his return from offseason shoulder surgery.
Left guard Jackson Carman, who played the first half of Friday’s preseason game as the only projected starter to participate, did not practice Sunday.
