That dubious distinction belongs to Clint Hurdle, the seventh-year manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Hurdle, who is also a former Reds player, entered the season with a winning percentage of .524 in Pittsburgh.
Price is 209-279 in two-plus seasons managing the Reds, who are in a rebuild while the Pirates are trying to remain perennial contenders.
Bovada gave Price 4/1 odds to be fired first while Hurdle’s stand at 7/2.
Former Reds manager Dusty Baker, now with the Washington Nationals, is ninth on the list with 12/1 odds.
Ironically, the latest odds were distributed via email within minutes of Price inserting relief pitcher Michael Lorenzen into a game against the Phillies. He hit a go-ahead home run, making Price look pretty smart.
