Cincinnati Bengals release B.W. Webb as secondary continues to evolve

The Cincinnati Bengals roster remake continued Wednesday with the release of B.W. Webb.

The team signed the veteran last year as a nickel cornerback, and he started 12 games for the Bengals in 2019.

He was credited with 37 tackles, an interception and seven passes defensed.

The news comes a day after the team reportedly agreed to sign cornerback Trae Waynes and defensive tackle D.J. Reader while cornerback Darqueze Dennard reportedly agreed to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
