Cincinnati Bengals re-sign defensive back

The Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday continued to focus their free-agent spending on their own players with the signing of cornerback Tony McRae.

McRae has played in 16 games for the Bengals the last two seasons, including one start, with five tackles and a pass defense. McRae also has notched eight tackles on special teams.

McRae joined the Bengals as a free agent in 2016. He also spent time with Baltimore and Buffalo in 2017 before returning to the Bengals late in the season.

McRae signed the exclusive rights tender the Bengals offered him on March 8.
