Cincinnati Bengals sign first-, second-round draft picks

The Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday signed first- and second-round picks Jonah Williams and Drew Sample.

Williams, a tackle out of the University of Alabama, was the 11th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Sample, a tight end out of the University of Washington, was the 52nd overall selection.

Williams (6-foot-5, 302 pounds) started all 44 possible games in college career for the Crimson Tide.

Sample (6-5, 255) spent five seasons at Washington and caught 46 career passes for 487 yards and five touchdowns.

The Bengals have signed eight of their 10 draft picks. Only linebacker Germaine Pratt (third round) and quarterback Ryan Finley (fourth) remain unsigned.
