Former Dayton Flyers guard Jordan Sibert will play for the Orlando Magic in the NBA Summer League, he announced on Twitter early Friday morning.

Sibert was not selected in the NBA Draft on Thursday night. After the second round ended after midnight, Sibert wrote on Twitter: “Motivation.”

The NBA Summer League, which features drafted and undrafted players, takes place July 4-10 at the Amway Center in Orlando. There are also leagues in Utah and Las Vegas.

The Magic will have two teams there. There will also be teams from Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder.

According to NBA.com, “Each team will play five games over the seven-day event, with a championship day being played on the final day of the league.” Games will be broadcast on NBA TV.
