Two more college football previews are out, and they are split on Ohio State and Michigan.

Street and Smith’s famous preseason mag tabbed the Buckeyes as the No. 5 team in the country and the Big Ten East champion.

OSU is the only Big Ten team in the top 10, though, with Michigan checking in at No. 11 followed by Michigan State (19), Penn State (20) and Nebraska (24).

The magazine pegged the Cornhuskers as the favorite in the Big Ten West and curiously left Wisconsin out of its top 25.

Also of note from S&S: Ohio State nonconference opponents Cincinnati and Florida Atlantic are predicted to finish third in their divisions (the AAC East and C-USA East, respectively) while the Miami RedHawks are slotted fourth in the MAC East.

The Buckeyes open the season with the Owls before playing host to the Bearcats in week two and the RedHawks in week four.

Meanwhile, Lindy’s has Michigan winning the Big Ten East and ranking No. 5 in the country with Ohio State checking in at No. 7 nationally.

Iowa is the Big Ten West champ according to Lindy’s and the third-best team in the conference, checking in at No. 14 in the top 25.

Also making the Lindy’s top 25 from the Big Ten are No. 16 Wisconsin, No. 20 Michigan State and No. 21 Nebraska.

Cincinnati is No. 33 in the national rankings with Miami 98th and FAU 104th.

Lindy’s is the second major preseason magazine to tab Michigan as the Big Ten favorite.

Athlon also put Jim Harbaugh's team on top with the Wolverines heading to the College Football Playoff as well.
