The University of Dayton football team unveiled new uniforms Tuesday.

The uniforms feature the new color scheme UD unveiled last summer. The announcement of the new logo came too late for the football team to change uniforms. They did have the new logo on their helmets last season, and the helmets stay the same.

The new uniforms were made by Nike and designed by members of the football team.

The Flyers, who finished 8-3 last season, open the season at noon Sept. 5 at Robert Morris in Corapolis, Pa. They play their home opener at 1 p.m. Sept. 19 against Duquesne at Welcome Stadium.
