In addition to points, Schroeder also owns Sinclair career marks in per-game average (26.2), field goals (601), free throws (341), free-throw percentage (86.8) and blocked shots (96). She also owns several single-game and single-season records at Sinclair.
Schroeder is the first women’s basketball player at Sinclair to earn first-team All-American honors.
McNeil, a 6-foot-4 freshman from Cooper High School in Union, Ky., led the nation in scoring at 29.7 ppg and 3-pointers made per game (4.3).
The OCCAC Player of the Year and Freshman of the year finished sixth nationally in free-throw percentage (87.6).
His 55 points against Bryant & Stratton on Nov. 17, 2018, set a Sinclair single-game scoring record. He scored 40 or more points six times.
A highly touted recruit, McNeil announced a list of six schools he’s considering — Dayton, Oregon, West Virginia, Western Kentucky, Texas Tech and Ole Miss — on March 20.
Schroeder and McNeil are first pair of dual first-team All-Americans from the OCCAC since Amy Amstutz and Jon Powell of Owens in 1998-99.
