The Reds have finished in last place in the National League Central four years in a row, but this offseason have made multiple major acquisitions in an attempt to slam the door shut on their rebuild.
The biggest move came Dec. 21 when they traded Homer Bailey and two prospects to the Dodgers for outfielders Yasiel Puig and Matt Kemp and utility player Kyle Farmer along with left-handed pitcher Alex Wood.
Prior to that, they traded for right-handed starter Tanner Roark from the Nationals, and most recently they acquired righty Sonny Gray from the Yankees.
Pitchers and catchers report to spring training in Goodyear, Ariz., on Feb. 13.
