Green has guided the Flyers to a 45-17 record, back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances and three Atlantic 10 championships (two regular season, one tournament) in two years at Dayton.

“Shauna has done an outstanding job leading our women’s basketball program,” Dayton Athletic Director Neil Sullivan said. “We share a mutual commitment to long-term success in women’s basketball. Extending our partnership affirms our common vision of graduating student-athletes, winning conference championships and competing in the NCAA Tournament.”

Green was the A-10's Coach of the Year this past season.

“I am blessed and extremely grateful for the belief that Neil and President Spina have in me,” Green said. “I look forward to building on the past two successful seasons and continuing our relentless pursuit at being elite. Dayton is a very special place and I am honored to be the leader here.”

Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
