UD announced Tuesday the second game of the season at 7 p.m. Saturday against Charleston Southern has sold out. It will be the 132nd sellout since the arena opened in 1969.
The opener last weekend against Indiana State also sold out. A crowd of 13,407 watched the Flyers hang on to beat the Sycamores 86-81.
This is the first time in UD Arena history Dayton has sold out two regular-season games in November. Two years ago, in November, it sold out an exhibition game against Ohio Dominican and then the home opener against Ball State.
» OPENING NIGHT: UD creates memorable experience for fans
Prior to the season, Dayton announced three games had sold out: St. Bonaventure (Jan. 22), Saint Louis (Feb. 8) and Rhode Island (Feb. 11).
There are fewer than 30 tickets remaining for these games: Virginia Commonwealth (Jan. 14); Duquesne (Jan. 29); and Davidson (Feb. 28).
AND ANOTHER ONE! That officially makes 5 sell outs for the 2019/20 season! 🏀
