Dayton Flyers sports camps returning this summer

After a one-year absence because of the pandemic, the University of Dayton will resume summer sports camps.

• The boys basketball camp will be for players as young as four up to players entering the seventh grade. All camps will be held at the Frericks Center on campus. For more information, visit DaytonFlyers.com.

Here’s the complete boys basketball camp schedule:

Skills & Competition Camp 1 – July 12-13

9 a.m. – 12 Noon for Incoming grades 2-4

1 p.m. – 4 p.m. for incoming grades 5-7

Skills & Competition Camp 2 – July 14-15

9 a.m. – 12 Noon for Incoming grades 2-4

1 p.m. – 4 p.m. for incoming grades 5-7

Shooting Clinic – July 16

9 a.m. – 12 Noon for Incoming grades 5-7

Skills & Competition Camp 3 – July 26-27

9 a.m. – 12 Noon for Incoming grades 2-4

1 p.m. – 4 p.m. for incoming grades 5-7

Skills & Competition Camp 4 – July 28-29

9 a.m. – 12 Noon for Incoming grades 2-4

1 p.m. – 4 p.m. for incoming grades 5-7

Junior Flyers – July 30

9 a.m. – 12 Noon for ages 4-7

• The football team will hold a youth camp for players in first through eighth grades (as of the fall of 2021) from June 15-17 and another youth camp for the same age group from July 13-15. There will then be a high school prospect camp July 19 for 11th and 12th graders.
