Dayton (20-10, 12-5) sits alone in third place with one game to play. St. Bonaventure (15-15, 11-6), which lost 64-46 at Davidson on Wednesday, trails Dayton by a game. If Dayton were to lose its final game and St. Bonaventure beats Saint Louis, the teams would tie for third, but Dayton would win the head-to-head tiebreaker and get the No. 3 seed.
Duquesne and Saint Louis are tied for fifth at 10-7. The Billikens beat Duquesne 85-75 in St. Louis on Wednesday.
Virginia Commonwealth (24-6, 15-2) clinched the top seed and the outright regular-season title by beat George Mason 69-38 on Tuesday.
