Dayton to introduce Anthony Grant on Saturday

Press conference will be held at UD Arena

The University of Dayton announced Thursday it will formally introduce new men’s basketball coach Anthony Grant at a press conference at 1 p.m. Saturday.

The event will be held at the Spectrum Flight Deck on the upper level of UD Arena. The event is not open to the public. Anthony Grant, Athletic Directory Neil Sullivan and UD President Eric F. Spina will speak at the press conference.

Dayton announced the hiring of Grant, who has spent the last two seasons as an assistant coach with the Oklahoma City Thunder, on Thursday. He will be the second former Flyer to coach at UD. Grant played at Dayton from 1983-87.
