Dayton offers scholarship to 2020 forward from Florida

A busy recruiting week continued for the Dayton Flyers as Tony Sanders Jr., a 6-foot-7 forward in the class of 2020, announced he received a scholarship offer from UD.

Sanders is entering his senior year at Gulliver Prep in Miami, Fla., the hometown of Dayton head coach Anthony Grant and assistant coach Darren Hertz.

Sanders is a four-star recruit, according to 247Sports.com, and ranks 182nd in the 2020 class.

Xavier offered Sanders a scholarship in March. He also has offers from Florida, Florida State, Wyoming and Florida Gulf Coast.

Dayton has two scholarships open in 2019 after Jordan Davis and Frankie Policelli decided to transfer and will have two opening in 2020 with Trey Landers and Ryan Mikesell playing their final seasons.
