Jesse McCulloch, a 6-foot-9 forward in the class of 2024, announced Saturday he received a scholarship offer from the Dayton Flyers.

McCulloch is from Cleveland. He’s a junior at Lutheran East High School in Cleveland Heights. He has received offers from Ohio State, Michigan State and Virginia Tech among others this summer.

McCulloch averaged 16.7 points per game as a sophomore and made the All-Ohio second team in Division III. He scored 15 points at UD Arena in a 56-43 loss to Cincinnati Taft in the state semifinals.

This is the sixth offer Dayton has made to a member of the 2024 class.

• Jonathan Powell, a 6-foot-6 guard who attended Chaminade Julienne last season and is now at Centerville, received an offer in November.

• Tyler McKinley, a 6-8 forward, received an offer in April. He attended Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati last season but transferred to Link Academy in Missouri.

• Jacob Theodosiou, a 6-foot-3 guard from Waterloo, Ont., received an offer in April. He attends Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio.

• Dellquan Warren, a 6-foot-1 guard from the Keystone Athletic Academy in Erie, Pa., received an offer in June.

• Dayton offered a scholarship to Raleigh Burgess, a 6-10 center from Sycamore High School in Cincinnati, in June.
