Jacob Theodosiou, a 6-foot-3 guard in the class of 2024, announced Monday he received a scholarship offer from the Dayton Flyers.

Theodosiou is from Waterloo, Ont., and attends Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio. He sat behind the Dayton bench next to his teammate, Damarius Owens, on March 5 for the final regular-season game against Davidson.

Theodosiou received his first scholarship offer last June from South Carolina and then received offers from Lehigh, Youngstown State and Ohio. He played for Canada at the FIBA U16 Americas Championship last summer.

Playing for Wildcat Selection at the adidas 3SSB event last weekend in Noblesville, Ind., Theodosiou impressed MadeHoops.com national scouting analyst Max Feldman, who wrote, “Theodosiou is a high level processor handling the ball while the shooting prowess remains a cornerstone of his skillset.”

This is the second scholarship offer Dayton has made to a member of the 2024 class. Jonathan Powell received the first offer in November. Powell played this past season at Chaminade Julienne but will now be playing at Centerville. He also plays for Wildcat Select and scored 45 points Sunday against Indiana Elite. He received an offer from Illinois on the same day.
