Gicarri Harris, a 6-foot-4 guard in the class of 2024, announced Friday he received a scholarship offer from the Dayton Flyers.

Harris is a junior at Grayson High School in Loganville, Ga. He received an offer from Tulane earlier this month and Stanford in late August. Clemson, Georgia Tech, Purdue and Auburn are among the other school that have offered him scholarships. He took an official visit to Purdue on Sept. 3.

Harris ranks 122nd in the 247Sports.com rankings for the class of 2024.

“(Harris) owns a solid skill set in that he is good with the ball and capable of making open threes and pull-ups alike,” Brandon Jenkins, of 247Sports wrote this week. “The winning traits are evident in how consistently aggressive he is playing with an absurd amount of toughness. Harris gives the same amount of effort on the defensive end where he pressures the ball with physicality and discipline. He strikes me as a prospect who will win a lot of games at the collegiate level while simultaneously being one of his team’s primary scoring options.”

This is the seventh offer Dayton has made to a member of the 2024 class.
