Alex Lloyd, a 6-foot-4 guard in the class of 2025, announced Wednesday he received a scholarship offer from the Dayton Flyers.

Lloyd is from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and is a sophomore at Westminster Academy.

Lloyd received an offer from the Miami Hurricanes in November and received offers from Florida State, Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis and Florida Gulf Coast in June.

This is the second scholarship offer Dayton has made to a member of the 2025 class. EJ Walker, a 6-foot-8 sophomore forward from Lloyd Memorial High School in Erlanger, Ky., received an offer in October.

This was also the second scholarship offer Dayton has made this week. Cameron Holmes, a 6-5 guard in the class of 2026 and the younger brother of Dayton forward DaRon Holmes II, announced Tuesday he received an offer.

In other recruiting news:

• Max Pikaar, the son of former Flyer Marco Pikaar, visited UD on Tuesday with his dad. Max is a member of the 2024 class. The Pikaars live in the Netherlands. Max is a 6-10 forward.
