EJ Walker, a 6-foot-8 sophomore forward from Lloyd Memorial High School in Erlanger, Ky., announced Thursday he received a scholarship offer from the Dayton Flyers on the same day he visited the program.

Walker is the first member of the class of 2025 to announce an offer from Dayton.

West Virginia and Purdue have also offered Walker scholarships in recent weeks.

Jake Weingarten, of Stockristers.com, talked to Walker in September and wrote, “He has all the tools to be a special prospect. Ball handling, defense, versatility, and my favorite, he’s a long shooter and has one of the most fluid shots I’ve seen in this sophomore class.”

This is the second scholarship offer Dayton has made this week. On Monday, Marqus Marion, a 6-foot-9 forward in the class of 2023 from Denmark, announced he received a scholarship offer from Dayton.
