Dayton offers scholarships to two guards

One member of the class of 2023 and one player from the class of 2024 received scholarship offers from the Dayton Flyers over the weekend.

Garwey Dual, a 6-5 guard from Carmel, Ind., announced Sunday he received a UD offer. He ranks 71st in the 2023 class, according to 247Sports.com. He has received other recent offers from DePaul, N.C. State and Virginia Commonwealth.

Dellquan Warren, a 6-foot-1 guard from the Keystone Athletic Academy in Erie, Pa., also announced Sunday he received a Dayton offer. He received an Ohio State offer a day earlier at OSU’s team camp. He’ll be a junior this coming school year and is a member of the 2024 class.

Dayton has offered scholarships to a number of players from the class of 2023. Warren is the fourth player from the 2024 class to receive an offer, following Centerville guard Jonathan Powell, Waterloo., Ont., guard Jacob Theodosiou and Walnut Hills forward Tyler McKinley.
