Dayton Triangles shirts, hats on sale locally

The Dayton Triangles — one of the initial 11 teams in the NFL — played the league’s first ever game right here at Triangle Park in 1920. Now, 91 years later, a new line of T-shirts and ball caps commemorating the team is being sold by Dayton History at the gift shop of the Kettering Family Education Center at Carillon Park.

A mini display of the Triangles — featuring photos and a written team history — is now featured outside the gift shop, but in the future, Carillon Park will be the permanent home to a major exhibit of local sports history that will include special emphasis on the Triangles.
