Dayton unveils roster numbers for 2019-20 men’s basketball season

Five players will make their UD debuts in the coming season

The Dayton Flyers men's basketball roster was updated online Saturday, giving fans their first look at the uniform numbers for five players who will be making their UD debuts in the 2019-20 season.

Here they are:

• Rodney Chatman: The 6-foot-1 redshirt junior guard, a transfer from Chattanooga, will wear No. 0. Josh Cunningham wore that last season, his final year with the Flyers. Chatman wore No. 1 in his final season at Chattanooga.

• Ibi Watson: The 6-5 redshirt junior guard, a transfer from Michigan, will wear No. 2. Frankie Policelli wore that number last season. He transferred to Stony Brook. Watson wore No. 23 in his final season at Michigan.

• Moulaye Sissoko: The 6-9 freshman center will wear No. 14. Jeremiah Bonsu, a senior in 2016-17, was the last player to wear No. 14.

• Jordy Tshimanga: The 6-11 redshirt junior center, a transfer from Nebraska, will wear No. 32. That was last worn by Brandon Spearman in the 2010-11 season. Tshimanga also wore No. 32 two years ago as a sophomore at Nebraska.

• Chase Johnson: The 6-9 forward, a transfer from Florida, will wear No. 40. He wore No. 1 in his two seasons with the Gators. Devon Scott was the last Dayton player to wear No. 40 in the 2014-15 season.
