The Minnesota Lynx will honor Dayton Flyers coach Tamika Williams-Jeter on Friday night when they celebrate their 25th anniversary.

The Lynx named Williams-Jeter to their All-25 team in March. Nineteen of those 25 players, including Williams-Jeter, will attend a postgame ceremony Friday after a game against the Indiana Fever at the Target Center in Minneapolis.

Williams-Jeter, a 1998 Chaminade Julienne graduate and former start at Connecticut, played for the Lynx from 2002-07. The Lynx selected her with the sixth overall pick in the 2002 draft. She averaged 6.7 points and 5.6 rebounds in 185 games.

Dayton hired Williams-Jeter in March 2022. She spent the previous season as the head coach at Wittenberg. She was an assistant coach at Ohio State, Kansas, Kentucky and Penn State earlier in her career.
