ESPN’s College GameDay bus to make stop in Huber Heights this week

Fans are welcome to tour bus in advance of Saturday’s show

College basketball fans can get an early view of the ESPN College GameDay bus at a special event in Huber Heights from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, two days before the traveling pregame show films at the Frericks Center on the University of Dayton campus.

The bus, which is used by ESPN commentators Rece Davis, Jay Bilas, Seth Greenberg and LaPhonso Ellis, along with the production staff, on Saturdays all season will be parked in the Kroger parking lot at 7777 Old Troy Pike.

The event is being hosted by State Farm agent Nathan Baker. Guests will be able to tour the bus. The ESPN commentators will not be there.

According to an ESPN press release, “The GameDay bus features lounges with leather sofas and reclining captain’s chairs, a galley kitchen and rest room. The bus has seven HD televisions in the front, a rear lounge and five receivers in the rear lounge so the GameDay team can watch five different games at once in order to collect information for their shows.

GameDay starts at 11 a.m. Saturday. Admission is free, according to a UD press release, and fans will be admitted to the Frericks Center on a first-come, first-serve basis. Fans can begin lining up at 7:30 a.m. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.
