Dayton Flyers forward Obi Toppin’s name appears in a mock draft compiled by ESPN, but it’s a 2020 mock draft.

Toppin, who declared for the draft last week but can remove his name from this year's draft by June 10 and still return to Dayton, goes to the Chicago Bulls with the No. 38 pick in the very early mock draft. He's listed as a player eligible for this year's draft but predicted to return to school. The mock draft is only viewable by ESPN Insider subscribers. That would make him an early second-round selection.

Toppin's name does not appear in a 2019 mock draft updated four days ago on NBADraft.Net or a BleacherReport.com projection of the first round.

Toppin averaged 14.4 points and 5.6 rebounds in his first season on the court with Dayton as a redshirt freshman. He arrived at UD in June 2017 but sat out the 2017-18 season as an academic redshirt. In the 2018-19 season, he was named to the All-Atlantic 10 first team. He was the first rookie to earn that honor in 20 years. He also became the first Dayton player to win the A-10 Rookie of the Year Award.
