Fairmont grad who scored 52 points in game last season joins Wright State basketball team

Fairmont graduate Jack Hendricks has accepted a preferred walk-on spot with the Wright State basketball team.

A 5-foot-11 guard, Hendricks averaged 16.8 points while shooting 42.5 percent from 3-point range last season. He scored a school-record 52 points in a 117-64 victory at Indianapolis Washington, hitting 14 of 22 3-pointers.

“I’m excited to announce that i have accept the preferred walk on opportunity and will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Wright state university,” Hendricks wrote in a tweet.

“Thank you to everyone who has helped me with making this decision and I’m eager to start this new journey!!!”
