Honors and achievements: As a senior, Decker earned first-team All-America honors from the American Football Coaches Association, the Associated Press, the Walter Camp awards, Sports Illustrated and CBS Sports. He won the Big Ten Rimington-Pace Award as the conference's top offensive lineman.

Notes: Decker was a three-year starter for the Buckeyes, who went 50-4 during his four seasons. He appeared in all 54 games during that stretch. … Decker originally committed to Notre Dame but switched to Ohio State when Urban Meyer was hired. … Decker was twice an intern at the Columbus Zoo. … Before Ohio State played in the national championship game, Vandalia honored Decker with Taylor Decker Day on Jan. 12, 2015.

Quote: "Coming back after last season, that was one of my personal goals: to be a first-team All-American and get a tree in Buckeye Grove," Decker said in December. "It's an incredibly storied program, and I personally tried to get everything I can. Going into the season and at the end of last season, I didn't want to draw attention to personal goals, but I felt like that goal of mine, trying to play at that level, helps the team. If I'm a better individual, it helps the team."
