Crosby was one of five players to leave coach Anthony Grant's program shortly after the season ended in March.
Crosby played in 26 games last past season, including nine starts, saw his playing time evaporate by year’s end as freshman Jalen Crutcher established himself as the starting point guard.
The Baltimore, Md., native also considered transferring last year after coach Archie Miller left for Indiana but ultimately opted to return.

He averaged 4.1 points and 1.9 assists in 14.7 minutes per game last season and has one year of eligibility remaining after sitting out this season to satisfy NCAA transfer rules.
